According to Meg, a busy Nutrition and Public Health Graduate Student, Yoga Instructor, and Nutrition Consultant from Eat Simple Yoga, it takes a lot more than running to keep your body lean.
“Until I started weight lifting I thought that just because I was a runner that was all I needed to keep my body lean. And while cardio will definitely get you to a point, I have absolutely seen more results in tones and slimming from weight training and doing a calisthenic workout such as yoga,” she notes in her post.
